Marrakech - Ouarzazatte - Dades

4 days - 5 nights

Marrakech - Ouarzazatte - Dades

4 days - 5 nights - 1000 Km - (RM403)

Program

We will meet you upon your arrival at the airport.

Our driver will take you to your selected riad in Marrakech, where you will spend your first night.

Dinner will be served at your riad, as will breakfast the following morning before your departure.

At around 8:00/8:30 a.m., our driver will pick you up at the riad and drop you off at our base.

At 9:00 a.m., you will be at the departure point where your motorcycles will be ready to ride.

Our hostess will complete the final departure formalities with you and check your license and passport.

Coffee, tea, orange juice, and Moroccan pastries will be offered to you in our reception bar.

You can take advantage of this relaxing moment to get to know your guide and any other participants.

You will choose your helmet and gloves and get acquainted with your motorcycle, which will be ready and waiting for you.

All motorcycles are equipped with top cases for all your personal belongings needed for this motorcycle tour.

A 4x4 support vehicle will accompany you throughout the trip and transport your luggage.

Your guide will then give you safety instructions so that you can ride safely in Moroccan traffic.

And off we go for 4 days of riding and over 1,000 km... We will set off no later than 10 a.m.

This 4-day trip is a condensed version of the beautiful mountain roads of the Atlas Mountains by motorcycle and breathtaking landscapes.

You can visit Taroudant on foot with a guide on the morning of the second day and also the movie studios in Ouarzazate on the morning of the last day.

To start with, we will bypass Marrakech and you can admire the architecture of the Medina's ramparts.

We will ride through the popular and authentic neighborhoods of Marrakech before heading towards the Ourika road.

After a maximum of 30 minutes, we will be out of Marrakech and will start the road towards the Tizi N'test pass.

Your motorcycles are well suited for this long ride and are particularly comfortable for the rider and any passenger.

All the roads taken during this long road trip are very pleasant winding roads with magnificent mountain scenery.

Every lunchtime, a well-deserved break is organized in traditional Moroccan restaurants.

The hotels, riads, and guesthouses selected will always be chosen for their tranquility, luxury, and relaxation areas.

In the mornings, we will make a leisurely departure at 9 a.m. after a hearty Moroccan breakfast.

Day 1 - Marrakech/Ouarzazate - 224 km (via the village of Ait Ben Haddou)

Day 2 - Ouarzatate/Tinghir - 262 km (via the Dades Gorge and the Toudgha Gorge)

Day 3 - Tinghir/Bin El Ouidane - 263 km (via the Atlas roads)

Day 4 - Bin El Ouidane/Marrakech - 261 km (via the Ouzoud waterfalls)

Total: 1,000 km, or an average of 250 km/day

On the first day, we will travel to Ouarzazate via the Tichka Pass, with lunch in the mountains.

At the end of the afternoon, before arriving in Ouarzazate, we will pass through the village of Ait Ben Hadou (a UNESCO World Heritage Site).

We will spend the first night in Ouarzazate at the guesthouse ‘Le Petit Riad’, which is often privatized for our exclusive use (maximum capacity 7 rooms).

Ouarzazate is famous for its film studios, where scenes from legendary films such as Gladiator, Asterix, and Mission: Impossible were shot.

The second day is magical, as you will travel through the stunning Dades and Toudgha Gorges.

In the morning before hitting the road, you will have the opportunity to visit the film studios. The tour lasts one hour, and you can participate in a short film in a gladiator arena.

This second day ends in Tinghir after a day of motorcycling through spectacular landscapes.

The next day, we head to Lake Bin El Ouidane via the small mountain roads of the High Atlas.

Lunch will be taken in a typical mountain inn (depending on availability in a rural area with very little tourism).

We will spend the third night facing Lake Bin El Ouidane.

On the last morning, you will have the opportunity to visit the Ouzoud waterfalls. The visit lasts 1 hour 30 minutes and is accompanied by a guide.

The return trip to Marrakech will take you along small roads that become less and less mountainous (you have to descend back down to the Marrakech plain...).

If you decide to visit the Ouzoud waterfalls, lunch will be a little more traditional, in a typical Moroccan village restaurant serving hearty meals.

During this road trip, all expenses are included: accommodation, meals, coffee breaks, snack breaks, gas—no surprises for your wallet.

The only expenses that are not included and will remain at your expense are alcoholic beverages.

Your guide, who is familiar with Moroccan roads, will adapt the speed of the group according to the riders' levels and traffic conditions.

On the last day, when you return to base, you can enjoy a farewell drink at our bar and start to regret the moment when you have to think about going home...

Our driver will then take you back to the riad reserved for you, where you will enjoy your last dinner.

The next day, our driver will take you back to the airport.

Our greatest satisfaction will be your smiles when we part with the promise to do it all again...

Day 3 - 268 km - Ouarzazate – Tinghir

Ouarzazate – Dadès – Todgha – Tinghir

This day is considered one of the most beautiful motorcycle routes in Morocco.

We take the road to the Dadès Gorges, famous for its legendary winding road, one of the most photographed in the country.

A spectacular climb, offering incredible panoramic views and an unforgettable riding experience.

Then we head to the Todgha Gorges, which are even more majestic.

Their narrow canyon, framed by cliffs over 300 meters high, makes it one of the most impressive landscapes in Morocco.

Motorcyclists from all over the world come here to ride.

At the end of the afternoon, arrival in Tinghir.

Check-in at a magnificent 5-star hotel reserved for our group.

Each participant will have their own suite for optimal comfort.

Large swimming pool for relaxation before a sumptuous dinner served on the outdoor terrace, weather permitting.

Overnight stay in Tinghir.

Day 4 - 220 km - Tinghir – Bin El Ouidane

Tinghir – Bin El Ouidane

After breakfast, we set off for a gentler day, alternating between mountains and plateaus.

We begin by crossing the Todgha Gorge again, which is even more spectacular than the day before when viewed from the other direction.

We gradually leave the Tinghir region behind and head for the mid- and high-mountain roads, which offer changing landscapes throughout the day.

The road alternates between a series of bends, rolling sections, and wilder passages, with very little traffic.

We travel along roads at altitudes exceeding 2,700 meters, crossing plateaus and unspoiled landscapes, with vast panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

An ideal day to enjoy riding to the fullest in a calm and spectacular environment.

Lunch break in a typical mountain inn, an opportunity to recharge your batteries and chat about this beautiful morning of riding.

In the afternoon, we continue our journey along equally pleasant roads before gradually descending towards the Lake Bin El Ouidane region.

The contrast between the mountainous terrain and the arrival in this natural setting surrounded by water is striking.

Arrival at Lake Bin El Ouidane at the end of the day.

Check-in at the hotel, ideally located on the lake shore, offering a peaceful and relaxing setting after a day of motorcycling.

Free time to relax by the pool, enjoy the natural surroundings, or simply admire the view.

Drinks, dinner, and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5 - 212 km - Bin El Ouidane – Marrakech

Bin El Ouidane – Marrakech (via the Ouzoud waterfalls)

In the morning, we drive to the Ouzoud waterfalls, the most beautiful in Morocco.

We are scheduled to arrive at the waterfalls at 10 a.m.

Our local guide will be waiting for us there for a 1.5-hour walking tour through the heart of the falls and nature trails.

You will discover different viewpoints, pools, rocky passages, and the site's impressive relief.

At the end of the tour, we will have lunch in a restaurant overlooking the waterfalls, with a direct view of the falls.

Sometimes the little monkeys that live on the site come to join us at the table, a typical and amusing experience unique to Ouzoud.

After lunch, we will drive to Marrakech, first on winding roads, then on increasingly smooth roads, before reaching the plains of Marrakech.

Arrival at the Rider Maroc base around 6 p.m.

We share a last drink at the bar, a convivial moment to relive this magnificent adventure together.

Private transfer to your riad.

Dinner and last night in Marrakech.

Day 6 – Return home (yes, everything comes to an end)

Our private driver will pick you up 2.5 hours before your flight.

After spending so much time together, you'll almost become friends with him!

Our greatest satisfaction: seeing you smile when we say goodbye.

If your flight is late:

You can leave your luggage at the riad and enjoy one last stroll around Marrakech.

To extend your stay, we can arrange:

– additional nights in Marrakech,

– or a stay at Lake Lalla Takerkoust, at our friend Jean-Charles's place in Flouka,

for a relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

We can also organize a half-day cultural tour with an official guide to discover the history, architecture, and iconic sites of Marrakech:

Jemaa el-Fna Square, the Ben Youssef Madrasa, the Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace, the souks, and the Majorelle Gardens.
