Program
We welcome
you upon arrival at the airport.
Our driver
will take you to your Riad, in the medina, where you will spend your first
night.
Dinner will
be served in your Riad as well as breakfast the next day before your departure.
Around
8:00/8:30 our driver will pick you up at your hotel or Riad and drop you off at
our base.
At 9:00 you
will be at the departure base where your motorcycles will be ready to ride.
Our hostess
will do the last departure formalities with you, check your license and
passport.
A welcome
coffee, tea, orange juice will be offered to you in our reception bar
accompanied by Moroccan pastries.
You can
take advantage of this moment of relaxation to get to know your guide and any
other participants.
You will
choose your helmet and gloves, and you will contact your motorcycle ready in
your name.
All
motorcycles are equipped with Top Case for all your personal belongings
necessary for this motorcycle ride.
A 4x4
assistance vehicle will do the entire raid with you and will transport your
luggage.
Your guide
will then give you the safety instructions so that you can drive serenely in
Moroccan traffic.
And off we
go for 4 days of riding and nearly 990 km…. At the latest at 10am we will hit
the road.
This 4-day
ride is a summary of beautiful Atlas mountain roads by motorbike and
breathtaking landscapes.
You can visit Taroudant with a guide on the morning of the second day and Essaouira on foot in the afternoon of the 3rd day,
To begin we
will go around Marrakech and you will be able to appreciate the architecture of
the ramparts of the Medina.
We will go
along the popular and authentic districts of Marrakech before heading towards
the Ourika road.
After 30
minutes maximum we will have left Marrakech and we will start the road towards
the Tizi N'test pass.
Your
motorcycles are suitable for this long ride and particularly comfortable for
the rider and any passenger.
All the
roads taken during this long road trip are very pleasant winding roads with
magnificent mountain landscapes.
Every
lunchtime a well-deserved break is organized in traditional Moroccan
restaurants.
The
selected hotels, Riads, Guest houses will always be chosen for their calm,
luxury and relaxation areas.
In the
mornings, 'quiet' departures at 10 am after a hearty Moroccan breakfast.
Day 1 -
Marrakech/Taroudant - 236 km (via the Tizi N'Test pass).
Day 2 -
Taroudant/Taghazout - 234 km (via Anti-Atlas mountain roads, to the coast).
Day 3 -
Taghazout/Essaouira - 270 km (via coastal roads).
Day 4 -
Essaouira/Marrakech - 250 km (via the desert plains and the Agafay desert).
In total:
990 km or an average of: 250 km/day
The first day we reach Taroudant via the Tizi N'Test pass
(2,100 m), lunch at the pass.
The first
night will be at the Riad le Jasmin in Taroudant, a green oasis 5km from
Taroudant with its magnificent swimming pool.
In
Taroudant the swimming pool is at your disposal all evening and even all
night….
The second
day is magical, you will drive for 3 hours in the mountains, crossing a maximum
of 5 cars, it is exceptional.
We will
leave a little earlier than usual (between 9am and 9:30am to quickly visit the
Kasbah of Taroudant on foot and the medina by motorbike.
This second
day ends at the seaside and you will follow the coastline for 60km to watch the
surfers.
The night
will be spent in a guesthouse facing the sea and the aperitif at sunset will
leave you with a memory for a long time.
The
Corsican boss André will welcome you and prepare fabulous grilled meat or fish.
The next
day direction Essaouira by taking the coastal road.
A coffee
break in Imsouane where we guarantee an unexpected spectacle, you will no
longer be in Morocco but in Australia.
Imsouane is
a magnificent bay and it is the macque of surfers from all over the world…. A
truly mind-blowing and totally improbable spot.
Lunch will
be taken in Sidi Kaouki in a restaurant with a Spanish atmosphere, we will be a
few kilometers from Essaouira.
We will
have arrived in the middle of the afternoon, you can if you wish take your
motorbikes to visit Essaouira on foot.
The less
courageous can spend the end of the afternoon by the pool.
The third
night will be in Essaouira, a city famous for its authentic fishing port and
its windy beaches.
The return
to Marrakech will take small roads that will take us through villages and rural
landscapes.
Before
lunch in Chichaoua we will cross desert plains as far as the eye can see.
Finally,
before reaching Marrakech, we will follow the Agafay desert, to arrive at Lake
Lalla Takerkoust.
During this
road trip all expenses are included, accommodation, meals, coffee breaks, snack
breaks, gasoline, no surprises for your wallet.
The only
expenses that are not included and will remain at your expense are alcoholic
beverages.
Your guide,
familiar with Moroccan roads, will be able to adapt the speed of the group
according to the level of the drivers and the traffic conditions.
On the way
back to the base on the last day, at our bar you can have a drink at the end
and start to regret the moment when you have to think about going back….
Our driver
will then take you back to the Riad reserved for you where you will have your
last dinner.
The next
day our driver will take you back to the airport.
Our

Day 1 – Arrival in Marrakech
Personalized welcome at the airport exit.
A private transfer will take you directly to a carefully selected riad.
Check-in and first moments of relaxation by the pool.
Dinner is served at the riad before your first night in Morocco.
Day 2 – 236 km - Marrakech - Taroudant
Marrakech → Taroudant (via the Tizi N'Test pass)
First wake-up call in Marrakech and hearty breakfast at the riad.
At around 8:40 a.m., our private driver will pick you up and take you to the Rider Maroc base.
At 9 a.m., arrival at the base and meeting with your guide.
A welcome snack will be waiting for you: tea, coffee, orange juice, dried fruit, and cakes.
Full briefing with your guide, safety instructions, specifics of driving in Morocco.
Check of mandatory administrative documents (copies of passports and driver's licenses) and signing of rental and equipment insurance documents.
You choose your helmet and gloves and get acquainted with your motorcycle, ready to share these few days of road trip.
The 4x4 support vehicle takes care of your luggage and sets off ahead of you.
Departure no later than 10 a.m. for a motorcycle road trip dedicated to fun and discovery.
We ride along the ramparts of Marrakech and through working-class neighborhoods before leaving the city.
After about 30 minutes, we take the Tahanaout road towards the Tizi N'Test pass.
The climb to the pass is our first immersion into the spectacular world of the Atlas Mountains: winding roads and magnificent landscapes.
When we arrive at the Tizi N'Test pass, at an altitude of 2,100 meters, we are expected for lunch, where we enjoy our first tagine at our friend Mustapha's restaurant.
The afternoon is then spent in a more relaxed spirit, with the descent to Taroudant.
From the summit, the view over the Souss Valley, between the High Atlas and Anti-Atlas mountains, is simply breathtaking.
Arrival in Taroudant around 5:30 p.m., check-in at Riad Le Jasmin, a green oasis with a magnificent swimming pool.
Aperitif, dinner at the riad, and a well-deserved night's rest after this first day of mountain roads and breathtaking scenery.
Day 3 - 234 km- Taroudant - Taghazout
Taroudant → Taghazout (via Anti-Atlas)
Wake up at 8 a.m. and depart at 8:45 a.m. for downtown Taroudant.
After a few minutes' drive, our local guide Ahmed will be waiting for you for a tour of the city by horse-drawn carriage, lasting about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Around 10:30 a.m., tea break in Taroudant, then departure for Taghazout via the Anti-Atlas.
After about an hour's drive, we arrive at the foot of the Anti-Atlas mountain range.
The support 4x4, which left ahead of us, will be waiting for us in the mountains at a strategic point offering an exceptional panorama.
There, the table will be set for a 5-star picnic, prepared by the chef from Riad Le Jasmin.
Cold drinks will be available, as well as beer for those who wish (to be consumed in moderation).
After this break in the heart of nature, we set off again to cross the Anti-Atlas towards the Atlantic coast.
On the agenda: nearly 4 hours of small, almost deserted mountain roads, where we will encounter very few vehicles.
The landscapes are exceptional: canyons, palm groves, dams, and mineral reliefs.
As we round a bend, the sea suddenly appears: a magical moment guaranteed.
We arrive around 5:30 p.m. at our friend André's house, Le Jardin de l'Océan, facing the sea.
We enjoy an aperitif and dinner facing the ocean in a warm atmosphere, with a memorable sunset.
Dinner is a generous barbecue prepared by the chef, whose menu you will have chosen with us the day before.
Spend the night in your oceanfront rooms, lulled by the sound of the waves if you leave the windows open.
Day 4 - 270 km- Taghazout - Essaouira
Taghazout → Essaouira (via Imsouane and Sidi Kaouki)
The next day, we head to Essaouira via the coastal road.
We stop for coffee in Imsouane, where we guarantee an unexpected spectacle: you will no longer be in Morocco but in Australia.
Imsouane is a magnificent bay and a mecca for surfers; it is a legendary surfing spot, with waves that can roll out for nearly 1.5 km across the bay, a truly mind-blowing and totally improbable sight.
Lunch will be in Sidi Kaouki at a restaurant with a Spanish atmosphere; we will be a few kilometers from Essaouira.
We will arrive in the middle of the afternoon; if you wish, you can take your motorcycles to visit Essaouira on foot.
The less adventurous can spend the late afternoon by the pool.
The third night will be spent in Essaouira, a city famous for its white houses.
Day 5 – 250 km- Essaouira - Marrakech
Essaouira → Marrakech (via the desert plains and the Agafay Desert)
The return trip to Marrakech will take us along small roads through villages and rural landscapes.
Before lunch in Chichaoua, we will cross desert plains stretching as far as the eye can see.
Finally, before reaching Marrakech, we will drive along the Agafay Desert to arrive at Lake Lalla Takerkoust and then the base.
We will return to the base at the end of the day, marking the end of four days of motorcycling, fun, and camaraderie.
A moment of sharing over a drink at the base bar will allow you to relive the highlights of the road trip.
Private transfer to your riad for the last night in Marrakech.
Dinner and overnight stay at the riad.
Day 6 – Return Home
Our private driver will pick you up at the riad 2.5 hours before your departure time, regardless of your flight time, to take you to Marrakech airport (you'll end up becoming friends with him, he'll have accompanied you so much).
Our greatest satisfaction: your smiles at the end of the road trip.
If your flight is late, you can leave your luggage at the riad and enjoy a last stroll through Marrakech.
For those who wish to extend the adventure, we can arrange additional nights in Marrakech or elsewhere, notably at Lake Lalla Takerkoust, at our friend Jean-Charles's place, Le Flouka, for a totally relaxing stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
We can also organize a half-day cultural tour with an official guide to discover the history, architecture, and iconic sites of Marrakech:
Jemaa el-Fna Square, the Ben Youssef Madrasa, the Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace, the souks, and the Majorelle Gardens.
