At 10:30 a.m., we will take a friendly tea break before hitting the road again.
We will then drive for about an hour to reach the foothills of the Anti-Atlas Mountains.
The journey continues with an exceptional immersion in the Anti-Atlas.
For nearly four hours, we drive along magnificent, wild and completely unspoiled mountain roads, where we will encounter no more than five cars throughout the morning.
The landscapes are spectacular, the series of bends constant and the driving pleasure total.
The 4x4 that went ahead to scout the area is waiting for us in the mountains and has set the table for a picnic in a spot with a breathtaking view.
Lunch is prepared by the chef from Riad Mazal, a special moment out of time.
After lunch, we set off again on extraordinary mountain roads, crossing palm groves and arid valleys, then passing close to the Moulay Abdellah dam.
As we round a bend, the sea suddenly appears before our eyes.
We stop at a parking area overlooking the sea and take a coffee break at a coffee truck (typical of post-Covid Morocco).
The day ends with a 60 km drive along the coastline, facing the Atlantic Ocean.
We arrive at the end of the day at our friend André's small guest house, which is often reserved exclusively for our group.
We relax in the jacuzzi, enjoy an aperitif and dinner facing the sea, and watch a magnificent sunset.

At 8 a.m., breakfast on the terrace facing the sea.
We take the time to watch the first surfers, already in the water, much braver than us, as the ocean slowly comes to life at sunrise. Then we head inland.
The road gradually leaves the coast behind and enters more rugged, wild landscapes.
The terrain becomes spectacular, reminiscent of the wide open spaces of the American West, with rock formations worthy of Monument Valley.
The mountains, sculpted by wind and time, reveal superimposed natural strata, true geological signatures that bear witness to the erosion and transformation of the landscape over the years and centuries.
Smooth driving, long straight roads, open panoramas, and a constant feeling of freedom.

Check-in at an authentic guest house, free time, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 6 – 252 km - Ouarzazate - Tinghir
Ouarzazate - Tinghir
After breakfast, we set off eastward for one of the most beautiful days of riding on the trip.
Very quickly, the road climbs and the landscape becomes starkly rugged.
We enter the Dadès Gorges, world-renowned for their legendary hairpin bends, veritable works of art carved into the rock.
The road winds along the bottom of the canyon and then climbs in spectacular switchbacks, offering breathtaking views of the valley.
These hairpin bends are frequented by thousands of motorcyclists from all over the world, who come specifically to experience this unique adventure.
The riding pleasure is exceptional; the transitions are technical yet fluid, in an absolutely magnificent setting.
After leaving the Dadès Gorges, the road continues towards the Todgha Gorges, an impressive canyon with vertical cliffs several hundred meters high, narrowing in places to just a few dozen meters.
The road seems tiny, dwarfed by the immensity of the rock. We feel so small, almost insignificant, in the heart of this monumental canyon, sculpted by time and water.
The light plays on the walls, the colors change with every kilometer, and the emotion is constant.
A powerful, awe-inspiring, unforgettable place.
We take the time to enjoy the site before heading to Tinghir.
Arrival in Tinghir at the end of the day.
Check-in at a 5-star hotel, in suites reserved exclusively for our group.
Free time to relax by the pool, before gathering for drinks around the pool.

The road gradually climbs towards the high plateaus of the central High Atlas.
We pass through the Imilchil area, already at an altitude of over 2,100 m, then continue climbing over high plateaus and passes, reaching a highest point of between 2,600 and 2,680 m.
The roads are wide and well paved, with large, fast curves.
Traffic is very light, offering smooth and safe driving through magnificent, open landscapes.
At the end of the day, descend to Midelt, perched at an altitude of around 1,508 m, in the heart of the famous apple valley, a vast agricultural plain surrounded by mountains.

Midlet – Bin El Ouidane (via the Zad Pass)

The road crosses high plateaus and climbs the Zad Pass, the highest point of the day at around 2,178 m.
The ride remains smooth, alternating between long curves and pleasant sequences.
The landscapes are vast and powerful, with a constant feeling of space and freedom.
Gradually, the vegetation becomes denser, signaling the approach of the lake.
The descent to Bin El Ouidane offers superb views of the turquoise waters of the lake, nestled in the heart of the mountains.
Arrival at the end of the day, check-in at the hotel, relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay by the lake.
Day 9 – 224 km - Bin El Ouidane – Marrakech
Bin El Ouidane – Ouzoud Waterfalls – Marrakech
After breakfast, we depart for the Ouzoud Waterfalls, considered the most beautiful waterfalls in Morocco.
The road is initially winding, traversing stunning mid-mountain landscapes, before becoming smoother as we approach the site.
We arrive at the Ouzoud Waterfalls around 10:00 AM.
There, our local guide awaits us for a 1.5-hour walking tour, allowing us to discover the different levels of the waterfalls, the shaded paths, the spectacular viewpoints, and the unique atmosphere of the site.
After the tour, we have lunch at a restaurant located directly on the site, with a breathtaking view overlooking the waterfalls. It's not uncommon for the small monkeys living in the area to come and join us near the tables, adding a playful and typically Moroccan touch to the experience. After lunch, we hit the road again towards Marrakech.
The roads gradually become less winding, giving way to the plains of Marrakech, marking the end of this magnificent road trip.
Arrival at the Rider Maroc base around 6:00 PM.
