Program
We will
meet you upon your arrival at the airport.
Our driver
will take you to your selected riad in Marrakech, where you will spend your
first night.
Dinner will
be served at your riad, as will breakfast the following morning before your
departure.
At around
8:00/8:30 a.m., our driver will pick you up at the riad and drop you off at our
base.
At 9 a.m.,
you will be at the departure base where your motorcycles will be ready to ride.
Our hostess
will complete the final departure formalities with you and check your license
and passport.
Coffee,
tea, orange juice, and Moroccan pastries will be offered to you in our
reception bar.
You can
take advantage of this moment of relaxation to get to know your guide and any
other participants.
You will
choose your helmet and gloves, and you will get acquainted with your
motorcycle, which will be ready and waiting for you.
All
motorcycles are equipped with top cases for all your personal belongings needed
for this motorcycle tour.
A 4x4
support vehicle will accompany you throughout the trip and transport your
luggage.
Your guide
will then give you safety instructions so that you can ride safely in Moroccan
traffic.
And then
you're off for 4 days of riding and nearly 940 km.... We will hit the road no
later than 10 a.m.
This 4-day
ride is a condensed version of the beautiful mountain roads of the Atlas
Mountains by motorcycle and breathtaking landscapes.
You can
visit Taroudant on foot with a guide on the morning of the second day and also
the film studios in Ouarzazate on the morning of the last day.
To begin
with, we will bypass Marrakech, allowing you to appreciate the architecture of
the Medina's ramparts.
We will
ride through the authentic, working-class neighborhoods of Marrakech before
heading towards the road to Ourika.
After a
maximum of 30 minutes, we will have left Marrakech behind and will begin the
journey towards the Tizi N'test pass.
Your
motorcycles are suitable for this long ride and are particularly comfortable
for the rider and any passenger.
All the
roads taken during this long road trip are winding and very pleasant, with
magnificent mountain scenery.
Every
lunchtime, a well-deserved break is organized in traditional Moroccan
restaurants.
The hotels,
riads, and guesthouses selected will always be chosen for their tranquility,
luxury, and relaxation areas.
Mornings
start off gently at 9 a.m. after a hearty Moroccan breakfast.
Day 1 -
Marrakech/Taroudant - 241 km (via the Tizi N'Test pass)
Day 2 -
Taroudant/Tissint - 268 km (via the mountain roads of the Anti-Atlas)
Day 3 -
Tisint/Ouarzazate - 220 km (via the Atlas roads)
Day 4 -
Ouarzazate/Marrakech - 212 km (via the Atlas roads)

km, or an average of 235 km/day
On the
first day, we will reach Taroudant via the Tizi N'Test Pass (2,100 m), with
lunch at the pass.
The first
night will be at Riad le Jasmin in Taroudant, a green oasis 5 km from Taroudant
with a magnificent swimming pool.
In
Taroudant, the pool is available for your use all evening and even all night
long....
The second
day is magical, as you will travel through landscapes on the way to Tata that
are reminiscent of the American West and absolutely enchanting.
We will
leave a little earlier than usual (at 8:30 a.m. to quickly visit the Kasbah of
Taroudant on foot), and the tour with a private guide will last one hour.
This second
day ends in Tissint at the Kasbah Tissint, a warm and welcoming guesthouse.
Enjoy an
evening of authentic Moroccan atmosphere far from the tourist trails with
traditional tagines and grilled meats.
The next
day, we will head to Ouarzazate via the small mountain roads of the High Atlas.
Lunch will
be taken in a typical mountain inn (depending on availability in a rural
environment with very few tourists).
We will
spend the third night in Ouarzazate at the guesthouse “Le Petit Riad,” which is
often privatized for our exclusive use (maximum capacity of 7 rooms).
The third
night will be spent in Ouarzazate, a city famous for its film studios where
scenes from legendary films (Gladiator, Asterix, Mission Impossible, etc.) were
shot.
On the last
morning, you will have the opportunity to visit the film studios. The tour
lasts one hour, and you can participate in a short film in a gladiator arena.
The return
trip to Marrakech will take us along small mountain roads through the village
of Ait Ben Haddou (a UNESCO World Heritage Site).
The last
stretch of mountain road is a little busier, and we will encounter many other
motorcyclists.
During this
road trip, all expenses are included: accommodation, meals, coffee breaks,
snack breaks, gas—no surprises for your wallet.
The only
expenses that are not included and will remain at your expense are alcoholic
beverages.
Your guide,
who is familiar with Moroccan roads, will adapt the group's speed to the
riders' skill levels and traffic conditions.
On the last
day, when we return to base, you can enjoy a farewell drink at our bar and
start to regret that it's time to go home...
Our driver
will then take you back to the riad reserved for you, where you will have your
last dinner.
The next
day, our driver will take you back to the airport.
Our
greatest satisfaction will be seeing your smiles when we part ways with the
promise to do it all again...
Presentation
This 4-day trip is a condensed version of mountain roads, desert areas, Saharan landscapes, and traditional villages in southern Morocco.
You will ride between Marrakech, Taroudant, Tissint, and Ouarzazate, before making a spectacular return to Marrakech via the mountain roads of the Atlas.
Highlights of the trip include the variety of landscapes, the lack of traffic on the roads, and the discovery of Tissint and Ouarzazate, natural and cinematic highlights.

Day 1 – Arrival in Marrakech

Day 2 - 241 km - Marrakech – Taroudant
Marrakech – Taroudant (via the Tizi N'Test pass)
First wake-up call in Marrakech and hearty breakfast at the riad.
At around 8:40 a.m., our private driver will pick you up at the riad and take you to the Rider Maroc base.
At 9 a.m., arrival at the base and meeting with your guide.
A welcome snack awaits you, including tea, coffee, orange juice, dried fruit, and cakes.
Full briefing with your guide, who will explain the safety instructions and specifics of driving in Morocco so that you can leave Marrakech with peace of mind.
Check of mandatory administrative documents (copies of passports and driver's licenses) and signing of rental and equipment insurance documents.
You will choose your helmet and gloves from those available and familiarize yourself with your motorcycles, which are waiting for you, ready to share these few days of road trip.
The 4x4 support vehicle will take your luggage and go ahead as a scout.
Departure no later than 10 a.m. for this motorcycle road trip dedicated to fun and discovery.
We will ride along part of the ramparts of Marrakech and through working-class neighborhoods before leaving the city.
After about 30 minutes, we take the Tahanaout road towards the Tizi n'Test pass.
The climb to the pass is our first immersion into the spectacular world of the Atlas Mountains: a winding road that is ideal for getting to grips with the motorcycles and enjoying the landscape to the full.
When we arrive at the Tizi n'Test pass, at an altitude of 2,100 m, we are expected for lunch, starting with a tagine at our friend Mustapha's restaurant.
The afternoon is then spent in a more relaxed atmosphere, with the descent to Taroudant.
From the summit, the view of the Souss Valley, between the High Atlas and Anti-Atlas mountains, is simply magnificent.
Arrival in Taroudant around 5:30 p.m., check-in at Riad Le Jasmin, a green oasis 5 km from the city, with its magnificent swimming pool.
In Taroudant, the pool is at your disposal all evening and even all night...
Aperitif, dinner at the Riad, and a well-deserved night's rest after this first day.
Day 3 - 268 km - Taroudant – Tissint
Taroudant – Tissint
Departure at 8:30 a.m. for the center of Taroudant.
After a few minutes' drive:
Our local guide Ahmed will be waiting for you for a tour of the city by horse-drawn carriage.
Duration: approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, exploring the ramparts, the medina, the squares, and the lively alleyways.
At 10:30 a.m.: tea break in Taroudant, a convivial moment before hitting the road again.
Then, head for the Anti-Atlas via little-used mountain roads, with landscapes worthy of the American West:
• long curves
• mineral reliefs
• remote villages
• immensity of the plateaus
An exceptional day for lovers of motorcycles and wide open spaces.
Arrival in Tissint, check-in at the Kasbah Tissint.
Swimming pool to relax while waiting for aperitifs, local atmosphere, traditional dinner, overnight stay.
Day 4 - 220 km - Tissint – Ouarzazate
Tissint – Ouarzazate
Departure through magnificent desert landscapes, heading up towards the foothills of the Atlas Mountains.
Lunch will be served in a typical mountain inn, with a terrace offering beautiful views of a rural environment that is largely untouched by tourism.
Arrival in Ouarzazate, check-in at an intimate guest house with a swimming pool.
Depending on your preferences:
– relax by the pool,
– or visit Ouarzazate on foot (cinema city, kasbahs, narrow streets, etc.).
The third night will be spent in Ouarzazate, a city famous for its film studios and numerous legendary film shoots.
Dinner and overnight stay at the guest house.
Day 5 - 212 km - Ouarzazate – Marrakech
Ouarzazate – Marrakech
Morning:
Option to visit the film studios in Ouarzazate, discover film sets, legendary scenes, and behind-the-scenes action.
For the more adventurous, it is even possible to participate in a short scene in a gladiator arena... guaranteed memories!
The return trip to Marrakech will then take us along the mountain roads of the Atlas, with superb views.
We will pass through Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The last stretch of mountain road is a little busier and we will encounter many motorcyclists, especially on weekends, which adds to the biker atmosphere of this last day.
Arrival at the Rider Maroc base in the late afternoon.
A convivial moment over a drink at the bar, to relive the best moments of this trip together.
Our private driver will then take you back to your riad for your last night in Marrakech.
Dinner and overnight stay at the riad.
Day 6 – Return home (yes, everything comes to an end)
Our private driver will pick you up 2.5 hours before your flight.
After spending so much time together, you'll almost become friends with him!
Our greatest satisfaction: seeing you smile when we say goodbye.
If your flight is late:
You can leave your luggage at the riad and enjoy one last stroll around Marrakech.
To extend your stay, we can arrange:
– additional nights in Marrakech,
– or a stay at Lake Lalla Takerkoust, at our friend Jean-Charles's place in Flouka,
for a relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
We can also organize a half-day cultural tour with an official guide to discover the history, architecture, and iconic sites of Marrakech:
Jemaa el-Fna Square, the Ben Youssef Madrasa, the Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace, the souks, and the Majorelle Gardens.
