Program
Meet at
9:00 am at our base (our address is available on Google - Rider-Maroc), your
bikes will be ready to go.
We'll have
a quick breakfast in our bar, with tea, coffee, dried fruit and pastries to get
to know each other.
Meet your
experienced guide, with whom you'll discover the pleasures of riding a
motorcycle on the magnificent Atlas roads.
You'll
choose your helmet and gloves in our lounge, and your guide will advise you on
your choices.
All bikes
are equipped with a Top Case for your personal belongings - don't forget your
sunglasses, you'll need them.
Your guide
will then give you all the safety instructions you need to ride with peace of
mind in Moroccan traffic.
And off we
go..... We'll be on the road by 10 a.m. at the latest... If you're ready, your
guide will try to leave earlier so you can enjoy the ride more.
This is an
easy ride, with no off-piste sections, so you'll have no trouble enjoying
yourself all day long.
On the plus
side, there's magnificent scenery and mountain roads all the way, so you could
imagine riding in Corsica (for those who know).
We'll go
around Marrakech and you'll be able to appreciate the architecture of the
Medina's ramparts.
We'll pass
through Marrakech's popular and authentic districts before heading for the
Ourika road.
After a
maximum of 30 minutes, we'll be out of Marrakech and on our way to Tahannaout.
As with all
our rides, this will be a 'family-friendly' outing, so don't be afraid to ask
for photo or coffee breaks.
Your
motorcycles are adapted to Moroccan roads and are particularly comfortable for
the rider and any passenger.
Throughout
the morning, on the way to Lake Lalla Takerkoust, you'll be able to enjoy a
variety of low mountain landscapes.
After about
an hour and a half on the road, your guide will offer you a coffee break in
Asni, the first opportunity to exchange first impressions.
Your guide,
accustomed to Moroccan roads, will adapt the group's speed according to riders'
skill levels and traffic conditions.
Lunch will
be taken at the restaurant 'Le Flouka' on the shores of Lake Lalla Takerkoust,
after around 3 hours on the road.
You'll be
able to enjoy traditional Tajines or continental food, depending on your
tastes. The meal is included in the price of your tour, so... enjoy.
The return
journey takes you up a magnificent winding road to Moulay Brahim, with
spectacular views.
Once again,
you'll be able to enjoy the many twists and turns of the roads we've selected
for you to enjoy.
For us,
motorcycling means .... Right, left, right and back again.... And if that's not
enough, we'll do it again, right, left, right......
After about
3 hours on the road, you'll be back at our base, hopefully with pictures in
your eyes and a smile on your face.
At the
base, at our bar, you can enjoy a drink (non-alcoholic beverages) and start to
recount the best moments of this day of motorcycling.
We'll arrange for a private driver to take you back to your accommodation (preferential rate), and the day's motorcycle ride will be over (we have others in the catalogue.....).

We can offer a private transportation service that will pick you up directly from your accommodation and take you to the Rider Maroc base. The same private driver will bring you back in the evening.

Meet at 9:00 AM at our base and meet your guide.
A welcome snack awaits you: tea, coffee, orange juice, dried fruit, and pastries.
A full briefing with your guide will explain safety instructions and the specifics of driving in Morocco so you can leave Marrakech with complete peace of mind.
Required administrative documents will be checked (copies of passports and driver's licenses), and you will sign the rental and equipment insurance documents.
You will choose your helmet and gloves, which will be provided, and familiarize yourself with your motorcycles, ready to share these few days of road trip with you.
Departure is no later than 10:00 AM for this day of motorcycle riding, dedicated to pleasure and discovery.
We will ride along part of the Marrakech ramparts and through some lively neighborhoods before leaving the city.
After about 30 minutes, we will take the road to Tahanaout towards the Tizi n'Test pass.
The climb towards Asni is a first immersion into the spectacular world of the Atlas Mountains, a winding road ideal for getting to grips with the motorcycles and fully appreciating the scenery.
Whatever your riding level and comfort, your guide, a true motorcycle professional perfectly accustomed to group riding, will adapt their speed to your pace.
Upon arrival in Asni, we'll enjoy a coffee break and share your first impressions of getting to grips with your new motorcycle, along with the inevitable anecdotes about the traffic leaving Marrakech.
After this break, we'll head towards Lake Ouirgane via a road of absolutely magnificent switchbacks on perfectly maintained tarmac, where you can lean into corners with pleasure and complete confidence.
Shortly before Ouirgane, we'll turn onto a small mountain road with very little traffic for about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
A final 45-minute transfer will take us to the edge of the Agafay Desert, where we'll meet at Flouka, our friend Jean Charles' charming hotel and restaurant, for lunch on the terrace overlooking Lake Lalla Takerkoust.
The afternoon will then unfold at a more leisurely pace as we ascend towards Moulay Brahim to admire the entire Agafay Desert and the lake.
Next, we'll cross the Kicker Plateau before descending back towards Marrakech.
We'll return to base around 6:00 PM, marking the end of this day of motorcycling, fun, and camaraderie. We'll then share a drink at the base bar to relive the highlights of the day.
