Semaine Atlas-Atlantique 1

6 Jours - 7 Nuits

Semaine Atlas-Atlantique 1

6 Jours - 7 Nuits - 1537 Km - (SAT01)

Program

semaine Atlas-Atlantique

Presentation

This 6-day road trip is a complete immersion in Morocco's most beautiful landscapes, specially designed for motorcycle enthusiasts and lovers of wide open spaces.

It combines mountain passes, legendary winding roads, green valleys, desert landscapes, and spectacular gorges.

Among the highlights of the trip are the Dadès and Todgha Gorges, two iconic sites in Morocco that are considered must-sees for international motorcycle tourism.

The world-famous Dadès hairpin road, one of the most photographed in the country, offers an exceptional riding experience.

The Todgha Gorges, even more impressive with their vertical cliffs over 300 meters high, are one of the most spectacular passages you can ride on a motorcycle in Morocco.

You will ride from the High Atlas to the Anti-Atlas, cross the Tizi N'Test pass, discover Taroudant, Ouarzazate, and Tinghir, before ending the road trip at Lake Bin El Ouidane and the Ouzoud waterfalls, then gradually returning to Marrakech.

The daily distances are balanced, with an average of around 150 to 160 miles per day, allowing you to fully enjoy the riding, the scenery, and the stops along the way.

Exclusive Rider Signature

All our road trips and motorcycle tours are offered on an all-inclusive basis.

With the exception of alcoholic beverages in the evening at each stop, you will have absolutely nothing to spend during your stay.

All your overnight stays are booked in single rooms for maximum comfort.

And if you snore at night, no problem... you won't disturb anyone!

The organization includes full logistical assistance, luggage transport, and permanent technical support for your motorcycle.

Accommodations are carefully selected for their quality, comfort, and authenticity.

You will benefit from professional guidance throughout your stay, with carefully planned and secure itineraries, and premium service from start to finish.

Groups are deliberately limited in size to guarantee an exclusive experience, tailored to your level.

Day 1 – Arrival in Marrakech

Personalized welcome at the airport exit.

Private transfer to your carefully selected riad.

Settle in and relax by the pool.

Dinner is served at the riad.

First night in Marrakech.

Day 2 - 235 km – Setti Fatma via Oukaimden

First wake-up call in Marrakech and hearty breakfast at the riad.

At around 8:40 a.m., our private driver will pick you up at the riad and take you to the Rider Maroc base.

At 9 a.m., arrival at the base and meeting with your guide.

A welcome snack awaits you, including tea, coffee, orange juice, dried fruit, and cakes.

A full briefing with your guide, who will explain the safety instructions and the specifics of driving in Morocco so that you can leave Marrakech with peace of mind.

Check of the required administrative documents (copies of passports and driver's licenses) and signing of the rental and equipment insurance documents.

You will choose your helmet and gloves from those provided and familiarize yourself with your motorcycles, which are waiting for you, ready to share these few days of road trip.

The 4x4 support vehicle will take your luggage and drop it off at the hotel where you will be staying during your motorcycle trip.

Departure no later than 10 a.m. for this motorcycle road trip dedicated to fun and discovery.

We will ride along part of the ramparts of Marrakech and through working-class neighborhoods before leaving the city.

After about 30 minutes, we take the Tahanaout road towards the Tizi n'Test pass.

The first few kilometers of mountain climbing are a first immersion into the spectacular world of the Atlas Mountains, a winding road ideal for getting to grips with the motorcycles and enjoying the scenery to the full.

At the exit of Tahanaout, we turn left towards Oukaimden.

We will then take a small mountain road with no traffic and begin to truly enjoy the magnificent scenery.

Whatever your riding level and comfort, your guide, a true motorcycle professional who is perfectly accustomed to group riding, will adapt his speed to your pace.

After the first 5 kilometers of hairpin turns, your guide will suggest taking a 19 km forest road to ride through nature at your own pace, alone in the world, enjoying the magnificent landscapes in a wild setting.

Halfway along this trail, the guide will stop for a coffee break in the mountains, bringing along a thermos of hot coffee prepared at the base that morning.

Drinking coffee surrounded by nature in a magnificent landscape will be a memorable moment.

After this break, we will return to the forest path to find the small mountain road towards Oukaimden.

We will leave the climb to Oukaimden on our right and descend for lunch by the river at Setti Fatma.

Eating on colorful couches with your feet literally in the water is a curiosity that all tourists coming to Marrakech should experience at least once.

On the menu: tagine, grilled meats, or couscous.

After lunch, there are another two hours of mountain roads before we reach the hotel or guest house where you will be staying for the duration of your trip and where your luggage will already be waiting for you.

Enjoy an aperitif and dinner at the riad and a well-deserved night's rest after this first day of mountain roads and breathtaking scenery.

Day 3 - 270 km

Wake up at 8:30 a.m., enjoy a hearty breakfast, and depart around 9:30 a.m.

Every day, we will take a different route on small mountain roads in the Atlas Mountains.

The new route for the day will be chosen from among all our suggestions for day trips, depending on the weather conditions and everyone's preferences.

This will be a climb to the Tizi N'test or Imlil pass at the foot of Mount Toubkal, or the Oukaimden ski resort, or the climb and meal at the sheepfold, or even the tour of Lake Lalla Takerkoust.

Whatever you choose, your guide will always suggest the best route for the weather conditions and everyone's riding ability.

All lunches will be organized in typical and authentic locations to leave you with memorable memories.

Every evening, return to the hotel or guest house around 5:30 p.m. to enjoy the comfort of your room, the bar, and the fireplace.

Day 4 – 236 km - Marrakech - Taroudant

Marrakech → Taroudant (via the Tizi N'T...

Day 5 - 234 km- Taroudant - Taghazout

Taroudant → Taghazout (via Anti-Atlas)

Wake up at 8 a.m. and depart at 8:45 a.m. for downtown Taroudant.

After a few minutes' drive, our local guide Ahmed will be waiting for you for a tour of the city by horse-drawn carriage, lasting about 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Around 10:30 a.m., tea break in Taroudant, then departure for Taghazout via the Anti-Atlas.

After about an hour's drive, we arrive at the foot of the Anti-Atlas mountain range.

The support 4x4, which left ahead of us, will be waiting for us in the mountains at a strategic point offering an exceptional panorama.

There, the table will be set for a 5-star picnic, prepared by the chef from Riad Le Jasmin.

Cold drinks will be available, as well as beer for those who wish (to be consumed in moderation).

After this break in the heart of nature, we set off again to cross the Anti-Atlas towards the Atlantic coast.

On the agenda: nearly 4 hours of small, almost deserted mountain roads, where we will encounter very few vehicles.

The landscapes are exceptional: canyons, palm groves, dams, and mineral reliefs.

As we round a bend, the sea suddenly appears: a magical moment guaranteed.

We arrive around 5:30 p.m. at our friend André's house, Le Jardin de l'Océan, facing the sea.

We enjoy an aperitif and dinner facing the ocean in a warm atmosphere, with a memorable sunset.

Dinner is a generous barbecue prepared by the chef, whose menu you will have chosen with us the day before.

Spend the night in your oceanfront rooms, lulled by the sound of the waves if you leave the windows open.

Day 6 - 270 km- Taghazout - Essaouira

Taghazout → Essaouira (via Imsouane and Sidi Kaouki)

The next day, we head to Essaouira via the coastal road.

We stop for coffee in Imsouane, where we guarantee an unexpected spectacle: you will no longer be in Morocco but in Australia.

Imsouane is a magnificent bay and a mecca for surfers; it is a legendary surfing spot, with waves that can roll out for nearly 1.5 km across the bay, a truly mind-blowing and totally improbable sight.

Lunch will be in Sidi Kaouki at a restaurant with a Spanish atmosphere; we will be a few kilometers from Essaouira.

We will arrive in the middle of the afternoon; if you wish, you can take your motorcycles to visit Essaouira on foot.

The less adventurous can spend the late afternoon by the pool.

The third night will be spent in Essaouira, a city famous for its white houses.

Day 7 – 250 km- Essaouira - Marrakech

Essaouira → Marrakech (via the desert plains and the Agafay Desert)

The return trip to Marrakech will take us along small roads through villages and rural landscapes.

Before lunch in Chichaoua, we will cross desert plains stretching as far as the eye can see.

Finally, before reaching Marrakech, we will drive along the Agafay Desert to arrive at Lake Lalla Takerkoust and then the base.

We will return to the base at the end of the day, marking the end of four days of motorcycling, fun, and camaraderie.

A moment of sharing over a drink at the base bar will allow you to relive the highlights of the road trip.

Private transfer to your riad for the last night in Marrakech.

Dinner and overnight stay at the riad.

Day 8 – Return Home

Our private driver will pick you up at the riad 2.5 hours before your departure time, regardless of your flight time, to take you to Marrakech airport (you'll end up becoming friends with him, he'll have accompanied you so much).

Our greatest satisfaction: your smiles at the end of the road trip.

If your flight is late, you can leave your luggage at the riad and enjoy a last stroll through Marrakech.

For those who wish to extend the adventure, we can arrange additional nights in Marrakech or elsewhere, notably at Lake Lalla Takerkoust, at our friend Jean-Charles's place, Le Flouka, for a totally relaxing stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

We can also organize a half-day cultural tour with an official guide to discover the history, architecture, and iconic sites of Marrakech:

Jemaa el-Fna Square, the Ben Youssef Madrasa, the Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace, the souks, and the Majorelle Gardens.
